Why use beef tallow as skincare?

Beef tallow rendered from the suet of 100% grass fed and finished cows is rich in vitamins A, D, K, E, B12, and conjugated linoleic acid, which has shown through research to be anti-inflammatory and detoxifying to our skin. beef tallow’s lipid structure is also remarkably similar to that of human skin, so using tallow not only protects the skin’s barrier, but it is also recognized by the skin. In other words, it is a 100% bioavailable moisturizer that is noncomedogenic, antibacterial, nontoxic and regenerative to our skin.

This balm is crafted with 100% grass fed and finished beef suet tallow, organic cold pressed olive oil, and essential oils of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, cinnamon, vetiver, and vanilla planifolia at 1% dilution.
